Ultimate  EA  Manager

One panel. Every EA under control.

Ultimate EA Manager watches every expert advisor on your account from a single chart — pausing, resuming, and protecting them so you don't have to babysit ten charts at once.

Getting started

Quick start — one chart runs the show

The manager lives on a single chart and controls every EA on the account from there. It doesn't matter which symbol or timeframe you pick for that chart — the manager doesn't trade it.

  1. Open any chart you're not using for trading — many users park it on a quiet pair just to keep it out of the way.
  2. Drag UltimateEAManager onto that chart. In the settings window, paste your License Key and HMAC Secret from your Ultimate Extractor purchase page.
  3. Check "Allow Algo Trading" is enabled — the Algo Trading button in the MT5 toolbar should be green.
  4. Click OK — you're done. Within a few seconds the panel appears and starts discovering every EA on the account automatically. No lists to type, no magic numbers to look up.
Tip: run exactly one manager per account. It sees everything from its single chart — adding a second copy just makes them argue.

  1. Account vitals. Balance, equity, floating P/L, and how many EAs are currently holding positions. The ACCT DD % box is editable — that's your whole-account safety net (more in Drawdown protection).
  2. Managed advisors. Every EA the manager found, one row each. Multi-strategy EAs collapse into a single row (you'll see × 6 style counts).
  3. System status. The news filter, trading schedule, and account drawdown at a glance. Click NEWS or SCHEDULE to toggle them.
  4. Master controls. Act on everything at once — resume, pause, or close all positions, plus the Schedule screen.

Managed vs. ignored

The / button on each row decides whether the manager touches that EA at all. Managed (✓) EAs get the full treatment — drawdown protection, news and schedule windows, pause/resume. Ignored (✕) EAs are hands-off: the manager still shows their stats but never interferes. New discoveries start ignored so nothing changes behavior until you say so.

Core feature

Pausing & resuming

Click Pause on any managed row and the manager stops that EA from trading — no new positions, no modifications. Its chart is taken over by a clear pause card that shows exactly why it's paused, so there's never any doubt about its state. It's instant, even when you pause several at once with Pause All.

Click Resume and the EA comes straight back exactly as it was — original settings, indicators, chart, everything restored automatically.

1 Click Pause 2 Pause card appears instantly 3 Paused & safe
What to expect. The pause card appears the instant you click — the panel stays responsive the whole time, even on busy accounts.
Good to know: pauses survive restarts. If MT5 or your VPS reboots, the manager remembers what was paused, finds those charts again, and puts the pause cards back — and Resume restores each EA fully, with all its settings and indicators.
Visual state

The pause card

Whenever an EA is paused — by you, by a drawdown limit, by news, or by schedule — its chart shows a centered card that says why, and the rest of the chart stays visible behind it.

PAUSED MANUALLY PAUSED resume from the Ultimate EA Manager panel MANUAL ULTIMATE EA MANAGER
The card tells you why. Its colour and headline match the reason the EA is paused — and it disappears on its own the moment that reason clears.

The headline on the card matches the reason in the panel: MANUALLY PAUSED, DRAWDOWN LIMIT REACHED, NEWS WINDOW, OUTSIDE TRADING WINDOW, WAITING FOR SLOT, or ACCOUNT DRAWDOWN LIMIT. When the cause clears — the news passes, the schedule opens, you click Resume — the card disappears on its own.

Protection

Drawdown protection

Two layers of protection, both set directly on the panel:

Per-EA limits

Type a number into any row's DD % box. If that EA's drawdown reaches the limit, the manager closes its positions and pauses it — the row flips to DD HIT and the chart gets its pause card. Set 0 to disable the limit for that EA.

Account-wide limit

The ACCT DD % box in the header is the circuit breaker for the whole account. If total account drawdown reaches it, every managed EA is paused at once. Use it as the number you never want to see — the individual EA limits should trip long before this one does.

Tip: DD limits persist. Your numbers are remembered across restarts, and a DD-stopped EA stays stopped until you deliberately resume it — no surprise re-entries after a reboot.

News & schedule

News filter

Click the NEWS pill to toggle it. When on, managed EAs are paused around high-impact news events and resumed automatically afterward — the row shows NEWS during the window.

Trading schedule

Click Schedule to open the schedule screen. Give any EA (or all of them) allowed trading hours and days; outside those windows the manager pauses them and shows SCHEDULE. Everything resumes on time without you touching anything — set it once and let the panel run your week.

Answers

FAQ

Does the manager work with any EA?

Yes. It discovers and manages any expert advisor on the account — yours, ours, or third-party — with no configuration. Utility tools (like data-sync EAs) are excluded automatically so they never get paused by accident.

What happens to the EA's chart while it's paused?

The pause card takes over the chart and the EA is set aside so it can't trade. Nothing is lost — the moment you click Resume, the EA comes back exactly as it was, with its own settings, indicators, and graphics fully restored.

What happens if MT5 restarts while EAs are paused?

The manager remembers. On startup it re-finds every paused EA's chart, restores the pause cards, and keeps DD-stopped EAs stopped. Nothing resumes without your say-so (or its schedule/news window clearing, if that's what paused it).

Will pausing lose my chart's indicators or the EA's settings?

No. The manager takes a full snapshot of the chart before it pauses, so Resume puts everything back exactly as it was — the EA's inputs, your indicators, colours, and drawings all return untouched.

Can I run the manager on more than one account?

Yes — one manager per account, each on its own chart in its own terminal. They operate independently. Just don't run two managers on the same account.

I see the same EA listed twice — one row with the trades, one without.

That's the situation the Link button exists for. Click Link on the row holding the trades, then click the real EA's name. Two clicks, fixed permanently.

Does "Pause" close my open positions?

No. Pause freezes the EA — existing positions remain open and untouched. If you want positions closed, that's Close All, or a drawdown limit doing its job.

What does "EAs HOLDING 0/26 — max 1" in the header mean?

That's slot coordination: how many EAs currently hold positions, out of how many are managed, against the maximum allowed to hold at once. When the slot is taken, other managed EAs wait their turn and show SLOT WAIT. You can change the maximum in the EA's settings.
